iSupport
Insight School of Oregon offers our students a support network to help them make the most of their high school years. This support network, or iSupport team, offers each independent learner the individual and academic support he or she needs.
The level of student involvement with their iSupport team is determined by personal and/or family preference. Some students are able to move through their studies with little support; others seek greater interaction and attention. The iSupport team is available to support all students.
Who’s on your team?
- iMentor – Your iMentor, a certified position, is the primary point of contact for the rest of the iSupport team and others who work with you to help you succeed as an independent learner. Your iMentor assists you with forming your learning plan, exploring your goals, teaching the iLearning course, and developing your online learning strategies. Where needed, the iMentor accesses specialized resources, such as an Admissions Counselor or Special Education Coordinator.

- Online instructor – Online instructors are certified subject-matter experts who work with students on particular courses. They help you understand course concepts, grade assessments, and develop your interests.

- Parents – Parental support is vital to student success, but unfortunately not all high school students are able to receive the desired level of support. Depending on the student’s personal situation and parent preferences, the parent may choose to work closely with the team to form the student’s learning plan and monitor student progress.
